Truckee River Winery and 174 Winery will be closed for Tastings this February. As it was a long harvest, and holiday season, the team needs to recharge and our vineyards need some love.
We will have some availability for Wine Club member private tastings and Tahoe Elevated Experiences during February by reservation.
Truckee River Winery and 174 Winery will re-open for tastings on select weekends by appointment.

Located in downtown Truckee on South River Street. This is an intimate, micro winery with a homestead onsite. We have been producing our award winning wines here since 1996, and now are showcasing this space for guests.
Due to the nature of this unique location, tastings and tables are limited to reservation only and certain days of the week. We offer outdoor garden seating on our patios, or limited indoor seating amongst the barrels.

A quick, 3 varietal flight showcasing one varietal from our Barn Series, one varietal from Truckee River Winery and one varietal from 174 Winery. Includes 1 white, 1 rose and 1 red.
Winter doesn't stop us from providing a one-of-a-kind picnic experience! Enjoy a memorable elevated picnic outside in the snow, but within a heated and insulated 12x12 bubble yurt. 6 varietal curated tasting, cheese and charcuterie board and a tour with one of Truckee River Winery's winemakers. Guests may take home a souvenir wine glass to remember their experience.

For the Fall/Winter season, this is limited to 4-8 people per bubble yurt outside. Bubble yurts can not accommodate more than 8 people. Thur-Sun for 3 hours.
This in-depth winery tasting follows the path of the grape from the vineyard to the cellar to the finished wine for 5 of our signature varietals, to be enjoyed amongst the barrels and tanks, or outside on the patio! Curated and updated through out the seasons to showcase our newest releases, award winners and holiday pairings. Please allow a minimum of 1.5 hours to enjoy.
Includes 1 white, 2 roses and 1 red all part of our infamous Barn series. This option is great for individuals that want to enjoy lighter style wines at an affordable price. Please allow a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy.
Elevate your Stag or Doe Party with Tahoe Elevated Picnics. Enjoy a semi or private area of Truckee River Winery completed with a head chair placed for the person of honor, sashes and a souvenir wine glass for each individual. Truckee River Winery will have a complimentary welcome bottle ready to be served at arrival. Group pictures taken by a staff member provided on group's own phones (maximum 20 minutes time).

Located just outside Grass Valley in Cedar Ridge on Highway 174 (Colfax Highway). This is a small farm property with animals and a homestead onsite. As this is still a new facility, some construction, repairs and maintenance occur regularly, and so we are open 1 week a month for the public, and by appointment only for wine club members.
We have seating outside on our lawn spaces, or limited indoor seating amongst the barrels.
