Truckee River Winery is now growing our own vines on the beautiful Truckee River.
We had our first bud break on June 20th, 2012! A little later than the foothills, but amazing nonetheless. The bud break was followed by 3 days of frost though. On June 23rd temperatures were around 28 degrees Fahrenheit, on June 24th temperatures rose to 30 degrees and on the 25th they stayed at 30 degrees. The vines survived the frost and are looking quite healthy.
